And I think that’s the last thing you want to do when you are a senior leader, that all your business is really going down the drain. And the other CEO said, I will not report anything I’m talking to with the customer to anybody, and especially not to the Salesforce, because this is confidential information, and I need to have my own sources of information.

The store’s sales price variance is the $1,000 standard or expected sales revenue minus $750 actual revenue received, for a difference of $250. The sales price variance can reveal which products contribute the most to total sales revenue and shed insight on other products that may need to be reduced in price. Raising kids, I have a much better sense of the ways that they’re going to go off track, the way they might be misleading us and things that they aren’t doing. So I would say I have a much better immoral imagination, and I think this captures what sales incentive designers need to design a plan, to anticipate how people might take advantage of it.
